[. . . ] Step 1: Power on the camera and look through the viewfinder to frame your subject. Make sure your subject is no closer than three or four feet (one meter) or else it will not be in good focus. The camera will beep once and the image counter will decrement by one count. For example the counter may change from 026 to 025. This means that you may now take 25 more images. The display counter shows the number of images remaining to be taken before the memory is full. When the counter says 000 the memory is full and you must download your images or delete them to make more space available. If it is too dark for the camera to capture a good image the camera will produce a double-beep sound, indicating that the illumination level is too low. The camera will not capture an image if you hear the "beep-beep" tone. 4. 3 Camera Information Display Beyond the basics of capturing an image, the Vivicam 3350 has many other features. Turn on the camera and notice the many icons and symbols on the Information display: As you press the Power/Menu button the display will change in the following order. To learn more about each function refer to the referenced section in this User Manual. Press the shutter button (within five seconds) to turn-off the camera immediately. Note: The camera will automatically power-off after twenty seconds of inactivity. 4. 5 Self-Timer If you would like to get into the image you may use the self-timer feature to delay image capture by ten (10) seconds. Press the Menu button two times until the " " icon appears on the right side of the information display. This is called VGA resolution, and is symbolized as "Hi" by the 3350 camera. This is called QVGA resolution, and is symbolized as "Lo" by the 3350 camera. Lo resolution images are noticeably smaller when you view them on your computer. The primary advantage to Lo resolution is that you may store more images (four times more) than Hi resolution. Lo (QVGA) resolution is the resolution always (automatically) used for movie clips, however. Press the Menu button six times until "Mode" appears in the Information display. Notice that either Hi or Lo will appear on the left-hand side of the Information display. [. . . ] You may first edit your images (rotate, crop, adjust colors, etc. ) before saving them to disk. 5. 2. 1 Transferring your Images to PhotoImpression ­ To transfer your images from the ViviCam 3350 to PhotoImpression follow these steps: Step 1: Start PhotoImpression.
