[. . . ] This charger is designed for indoor use : do not expose to damp or rain. [. . . ] This indicates that it should not be disposed of with other domestic waste, but should be left at an appropriate collection point provided by your local authority. It will be returned to an approved centre which will reuse and recycle its constituent parts, whilst neutralising any possible substances harmful to health or the environment. By participating in separate waste collection, you are contributing to reducing wastefulness of our natural resources. Compact charger The UNIROSS charger is designed to charge Ni-Cd or Ni-MH batteries in the following sizes/quantities: - 2 or 4 batteries size AAA/R03/Micro - 2 or 4 batteries size AA/R6/Mignon - 1 or 2 batteries size 9V Block/R22/PP3. It is also possible to charge 1 R22 at the same time as 2R6 ­ take care to observe times for different size batteries (see table below). Indicator lights, red, indicating charging of battery size R03 and/or R6 in locations respectively (A and B) and/or (C and D) is in progress Locations E and F to charge batteries of the 9V Block / R22 / PP3 size. Red indicator light denoting that the charging of 9 V Block / R22 / PP3 size batteries in locations E and/or F is in progress. Insert 2 or 4 R03 or R6 or 1 or 2 R22 (Ni-Cd/Ni-MH) batteries into the charge compartments taking care to observe polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the charger. [. . . ] The charger does not switch off automatically; it is therefore necessary to switch off manually once desired charge times have been reached, by disconnecting the charger from the power outlet and removing the batteries (Ni-Cd/NiMH) from the charger.
