[. . . ] This charger is designed to charge NI-Cd or NI-MH batteries in the following sizes/quantities : - 2 or 4 batteries size AAA / R03, - 2 or 4 batteries size AA / R06 - 1 battery size 9V block/R22/PP3 2. Insert the batteries size AAA/R03, AA/R06 or 9V/PP3 into the charger compartments, taking care to observe polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the charger. [. . . ] The indicator light extinguishes indicating that charging is complete and that the charger has switched to a maintenance charge. When charging a 9V battery, the charger does not switch off automatically and the LED light concerned will remain illuminated. It is therefore necessary to switch off manually once desired charge time has been reached. Unplug the charger and remove the batteries from the unit when not in use.
