In a newly purchased instrument, Trimble VX Spatial Station firmware version R12. 2. 45 is already installed from the factory. [. . . ] Download the file Trimble VX Spatial Station Firmware R12. 2. 45. exe from www. trimble. com/trimblevx and save it to a convenient location on your office computer. Connect a hirose 6-pin to PC USB cable (part number 73840001 or 738140019) from the instrument foot connector labeled COM to a USB port on the office computer. Ensure that the Trimble CU / Trimble TSC2 controller is removed and that you have a fully charged battery in the instrument. Run the file Trimble VX Spatial Station Firmware R12. 2. 45. exe that you saved on the office computer to begin the firmware upgrade. Follow the instructions in the installation wizard to complete the upgrade. Using the Trimble VX Spatial Station with other Trimble Products Trimble VX Spatial Station firmware version R12. 2. 45 is compatible with the following Trimble survey field software. IMPORTANT: This version of Trimble VX Spatial Station firmware is not compatible with versions of Trimble survey field software older than those listed above.
