[. . . ] Product branding changes for TBC-HCE and TCC - The name ® Trimble Business Center - Heavy Construction Edition (TBC-HCE) has been shortened to Business Center - HCE (BC-HCE). The name Trimble Connected Community (TCC) has been shortened to Connected Community. The name changes better align these products with the branding of the VisionLink product. Business Center, VisionLink, and the Connected Community together form the office software cornerstones of Trimble's Connected Site philosophy and the related solutions. [. . . ] (See "Add New Trimble IP-Enabled Receivers" in the online Help. ) Release Notes 4 Corridor template node names - In the user interface, "corridor codes" have been renamed "template node names. " (See "Create, Edit, and Delete Template Node Names" in the online Help. ) Multiple Frequency (L1/L2/L5) baseline processing - Choose to process baselines using the new Multiple Frequency (L1, L2, and L5) option, in addition to the L1-only option and Dual Frequency (L1 and L2) option. (See "Baseline Processing Settings" in the online Help. ) Baseline Processing Report in RDLC format - You can now generate this report in a report definition file format (. rdlc), which can be viewed on the Report View tab. This allows you to easily navigate the report, change the viewing magnification, search for text, and export to a spreadsheet or PDF document. (See "Run a Baseline Processing Report" in the online Help. ) Connect to Trimble Tablet - The new TabletSync utility, which can be installed on a Trimble Tablet computer along with Trimble Access, allows you to easily transfer and synchronize data files between the tablet and a host computer using a local area network (wired or wireless). Mean angle residuals - Mean angles that include outlier observations (that is, observations that exceed tolerances you specify), are denoted by red text or flags in the Project Explorer, Plan View, and Mean Angle Residuals dialog, making them easier to see and disable as necessary. (See "View and Edit Mean Angle Residuals" in the online Help. ) Network adjustment - When performing network adjustments, you can now specify whether the observations that make up mean angles are used individually or as a mean. In addition, you can specify individual horizontal and vertical standard error values for control points of differing survey precisions. (See "Network Adjustment Settings" in the online Help. ) Exporting points - Export survey points, scan points, and CAD points into a single file. As part of the export, assign IDs to points that do not have them, and specify undefined elevations. (See "Export Data in a Custom Format" in the online Help. ) Open Data Service - Access data in the Business Center database using the new Open Data Service. Third-party applications (for example, LinqPad) can now access point and related information using Open Data Protocol (OData) to display project data based on customized queries. (See "Start Data Service Command" in the online Help. ) Trimble Access Services - Easily connect to Trimble Access Services directly from Business Center. Trimble Solution Improvement Program - To help us continually improve our software, you can participate in the Trimble Solution Improvement Program, which allows us to gather anonymous information about how the program is used. (See "Improvement Program" in the online Help. ) Release Notes 5 Graphics display - Select to improve graphics performance by limiting the maximum resolution (down-sampling) for georeferenced and Trimble VX-generated images. Release Notes 7 Notable Licensing Conditions Note that the End User License Agreement for Business Center- HCE allows the licensed user the following freedoms (as excerpted from that agreement) in regard to the installation and use of the software on multiple computers. You are allowed to install and use and to allow others to install and use the Business Center software in its "Core Product" configuration on any number of personal computers or network servers, including those of your employees, subcontractors and independent consultants, but solely for your internal business needs in connection with your use of Trimble products. [. . . ] These include new data provider groups and Internet sites that you have added to the Internet Download command. These include combinations of project settings that you have defined as templates for baseline processing and network adjustment.
