Printed Documentation Quick Start Guide -- Describes the process from unpacking to starting up your VAIO. [. . . ] This allows you to drag objects, such as an open application window or a toolbar, from one display to the other. Your external display may not support the Multiple Monitors function. Certain software applications may not be compatible with Multiple Monitors settings. Make sure that your computer does not enter Sleep mode while you are using Multiple Monitors mode; otherwise the computer may not return to Normal mode. Confirm that the floppy disk drive can be safely removed from the system. Once you have set the power-on password, you cannot start your computer without entering the password. If you forget the power-on password and need assistance to reset it, a password reset fee will be charged, and your computer may need to be sent in for depot service for password reset. Select Password when Power On under Security. Press the < or , key to select Exit, select Exit Setup, and then press the Enter key.
