By using the Ethernet networked remote control the hull unit extends the SX90 transducer to 1 metre below the hull. The SX95 Hull Unit will fit on a standard Simrad installation trunk with 540 mm pitch centre diameter. In case of a power failure, the transducer array can be hoisted manually by means of a hand crank.
