Muting You can mute your phone when making external calls. The microphone is deactivated so that your conversational partner can no longer hear you. Precondition: You own an IP dial service card and the IP code is stored in the phone book via the handset menu, page 15. Please note Dialling using phone book ( page 15), redial list ( page 13) or calls list ( page 14) saves you from having to re-enter numbers and network provider prefixes.
