Playing Back a Stored Recording You have the following options during the playback of a stored recording: u For controlling the playback, see "Controlling the Playback" on page 55 u For changing settings, see "Selecting Picture and Sound" on page 36 u For editing the stored recording, see "Using Trickmode" on page 56 54 Recording Starting Playback M > Films > All Films w o Select the stored recording you wish to play back. Start the playback. Controlling the Playback Forward and rewind Use the following buttons to control the playback of a stored recording, for example to skip recorded advertising breaks or to repeat individual scenes: R/F p Pause Start the fast rewind or forward. Press the button a number of times in order to increase the rewind or forward speed (4 speed levels). The playback is continued at normal speed. B R/F p S Activate pause mode. The playback pauses and you see the last played back image as a still image. Hold down the respective button in order to switch through a number of still images. End pause mode in order to continue playback. Terminating playback As soon as the end of the recording has been reached, the playback stops automatically. You can also, however, terminate playback manually at any time: Terminate playback to switch back to live mode. The Last viewed bookmark is set in the recording at the last viewed position. Continuing the playback (Last viewed) U r Select and start the playback you would like to continue. You can then control the playback in the usual way (see "Controlling the Playback" on page 55): Fast rewind or forward. Playback. R/F B p i n x G Setting a new bookmark You can use the Set Mark option to insert the new bookmark at the current position in the playback or the current recording. Open the Mark List menu if you want to delete bookmarks (see "Editing Bookmarks, Jumps and Loops" on page 59). Selecting existing bookmarks Select the desired bookmark. The currently selected bookmark is always highlighted in green. Showing detailed information Open the detailed information available for the current playback. 58 Recording Editing Bookmarks, Jumps and Loops You can rename these bookmarks in the Mark List menu and combine them as jumps or loops: U n Open the Trickmode bar during a playback. You will see a summary of all bookmarks and actions that are already available for the current playback: u Bookmark name column: All available bookmarks are listed in chron- ological order. The Start and End bookmarks are created automatically and cannot be deleted. u Time column: Shows the precise position of the associated bookmark on the timeline. u Actions column: Bookmarks that belong to a jump or a loop are identified by appropriate icons. You have the following options in the Mark List menu: Button w >/< o i n g b wo #o Description Select bookmark or action. Insert a loop to repeat a scene automatically. Renaming a bookmark Select and confirm the desired bookmark. Enter the new name in the Edit Name menu and confirm your input, see "Entering Text and Digits" on page 31.
