The PTM-1 Paging Module is a signal sensing paging adapter which will accept the page output or other line-level audio output from telephone paging systems, paging preamplifiers, switch triggered voice/sound recording devices etc. PTM-1 SETTINGS From the bottom of the PTM-1 adjust the trigger sensitivity so that the green LED comes on when a signal is present at the line audio input. Then adjust the delay so that the green LED will turn off some time after the audio signal turns off. This delay will allow a period of time (up to 10 seconds) for any continued audio signal. Adjust the signal audio level to match the level of audio from your other sources. For example, play the CD player at a volume setting then page your system and adjust the volume level from the PTM-1 to approximately match the volume of the CD player.
