The seatbelt buckle position (when fastened) must be below the belt-guide of the seat as shown in figure 6a. Removing the headrest cover: Open the Velcro fastener at the back of the headrest (A). Subsequently open the narrow Velcro fasteners on the sides and remove the cover. Detach the elastic straps from the belt hooks (B) and remove the elastic loop from the connecting hook. Removing the backrest cover: Lift the back slightly and move it all the way back. The child car seat is only suitable for use in approved cars fitted with three-point static or retractor safety belts approved to UN-ECE Regulation No. Secure the infant carrier in the car in such a manner that it is not wedged in by the front seats or the vehicle doors. The child car seat has been tested in a front collision at 50 km/h according to ECE 44/04. Following an accident, the child car seat must be replaced and tested at the factory.
