As the backlighting consumes additional power, the battery lifetime will reduce when the backlighting is used frequently. Therefore it is possible to switch this function off. Turn on the backlighting: · Press keys 7 and 9 simultaneously for 5 seconds. ­ The Standby light will blink twice to confirm the backlighting is enabled. · Everytime you press a key on the remote the backlighting will switch on.
