To programme a track, press YES and then adjust JOG CONTROL to select a desired track from the album. The total number of tracks programmed and the total playing time are displayed. Notes: ­ If the total programmed playing time is more than 320 minutes, "--:--" is displayed. ­ If you attempt to programme more than 99 tracks, "PROGRAM FULL" is displayed. ­ In programme mode, pressing the CD DIRECT 1/2/3 buttons on the remote control will play the selected disc and the stored programme will be ignored temporarily. ­ During programming, if no key is pressed within 20 seconds, the system will exit the Programme mode automatically. To review the programme q Stop playback and adjust JOG CONTROL (or pressí or ë on the remote control). q To exit review mode, press Ç. Erasing the programme To erase a track English 1 2 3 4 Stop playback and press CD 1·2·3 or CDR to select a disc. To erase the entire programme 8 1 2 Stop playback and press NO. Note: ­ The programme will be erased when the system switched to standby mode, disconnected from the power supply or when the disc tray is opened. Changing the programme 1 2 3 Press PROG. Press à or á to move to the track number you want to change. To remove the track from the programme; Refer to "Erasing the programme". To insert a new track; Adjust JOG CONTROL to select a new track and press YES to confirm. The CD recorder is equipped with the highperformance Direct Line Recording technique. It ensures a perfect recording of the source material, meaning a true "bit for bit" recording. DLR will not become active when ALC is being used or the record level is adjusted. General information on recording q Use the unfinalised discs with CDR AUDIO or CDRW AUDIO logo only. q Minimum track length is four seconds, otherwise silence will be added to the track. q Minimum recording time left on the disc is seven seconds, otherwise "DISC FULL" is displayed and you cannot enter the record mode. q CD text (if available) will be recorded automatically provided the text is not copy protected, otherwise "TEXT PROTECT" is displayed.
