It is possible to clean the shaving unit by means of a degreasing liquid (alcohol for example). Lubricate the shaving heads and the trimmer with a drop of sewing machine oil. Remove the shaving unit from the shaver by pushing the release button. If you should accidentally mix up the guards and cutters, it may take several weeks before optimal shaving performance is restored. Clean each cutter carefully by brushing in the direction of the arrow only, using the short bristled brush.
