Manual abstract: user guide PARTNER PFT5060RB

Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] Thoroughly inspect the area were the equipment is to be used and remove all objects which can be thrown by the machine. WARNING: Petrol is highly flammable: - store fuel in containers specifically designed for this purpose; - refuel outdoors only and do not smokewhile refueling; - add fuel before starting the engine. Never remove the cap of the fuel tank or add petrol while the engine is running or when the engine is hot; - if petrol is spilled, do not attempt to start the engine but move the machine away from the area of spillage and avoid creating any source of ignition until petrol vapors have dissipated; - replace all fuel tank and container caps securely. [. . . ] Insert stake support between engine bracket halves with stake spring down. NOTE: It may be necessary to loosen nut "A" · Bolt stake support to engine brackets with bolts, lock washers and nuts. If a higher handle height is desired, loosen the four nuts securing handle panel to engine brackets. Your outer tines can be assembled in several different ways to suit your tilling or cultivating needs. Use clean 30 or 10W-30 grade oil and store in approved, clean covered containers. Starting up when the engine is cold Once the engine starts, slide the choke to the "run" position. Starting when the engine is warm Start the engine with a quick pull of the recoil starter. All variations of speed and depth of cultivation are dependent on the position of the supporting wheels and arrester bar. The arrester bar must always be lower than the level of the wheels during cultivation. The function of the arrester bar is to slow down the movement of the cultivator so that the blades dig into the soil. Set the arrester bar higher if you want the cultivator to till less deeply. Lifting the handlebars slightly will increase the cultivator's speed of propulsion, which means that the blades will not dig as deeply into the soil. Pressing the handlebars down has the effect of reducing the speed of the machine, and making the blades work deeper. When cultivating hard or stony ground, it is advisable to proceed slowly. When cultivating hard ground or peat, it is advisable to cultivate 2-3 times in succession, working gradually deeper over the same area of ground. Always cultivate at right angles to the previously worked direction (cross cultivation). Stones and roots may become jammed between the blades and the chain case. Disengage the spark plug lead and remove all foreign objects so that the blades can rotate freely. [. . . ] When ordering spare parts, remember to state the product number of your machine.
