NOTE: The tube clamp bolt must be loose enough to allow blower tube to be inserted in blower outlet. Blower Outlet ASSEMBLY WARNING: Stop engine and be sure the impeller blades have stopped turning before opening the vacuum inlet door or attempting to insert or remove the vacuum or blower tubes. Always disconnect the spark plug before performing maintenance or accessing movable parts. WARNING: If received assembled, repeat all steps to ensure your unit is properly Groove Rib 2. If you do not understand the safety rules, do not attempt to fuel your unit. Contact an authorized service dealer. FUELING ENGINE Blower Vacuum WARNING: Remove fuel cap slowly when refueling. Before operation, petrol must be mixed with a good quality 2-cycle air-cooled engine oil. A 40:1 ratio is obtained by mixing 5 liters of unleaded petrol with 0, 125 liter of oil. Always read and follow the safety rules before fueling your unit. IMPORTANT Experience indicates that alcohol blended fuels (called gasohol or using ethanol or methanol) can attract moisture which leads to separation and formation of acids during storage. To avoid engine problems, empty the fuel system before storage for 30 days or longer. Drain the gas tank, start the engine and let it run until the fuel lines and carburetor are empty. Never use engine or carburetor cleaner products in the fuel tank or permanent damage may occur. OPERATING TIPS S While vacuuming or blowing debris, hold the unit with the muffler side facing away from your body and clothes (see OPERATING POSITION). S To reduce the risk of hearing loss associated with sound level(s), hearing protection is required. S To reduce the risk of injury associated with contacting rotating parts, stop the engine before installing or removing attachments. [. . . ] Adjustments may be necessary if you notice any of the following conditions: S Engine will not idle when the throttle is released. Idle Speed Adjustment Allow engine to idle. Adjust speed until engine runs without stalling (idle speed too slow). S Turn idle speed screw clockwise to increase engine speed if engine stalls or dies. Idle Speed Screw REPLACE FUEL FILTER To replace fuel filter, drain unit by running it dry of fuel, then remove fuel cap/retainer assembly from tank. [. . . ]
