(To protect the air conditioner from heavy corrosion) *DBT: Dry bulb temperature *WBT: Wet bulb temperature  When used in FRESH AIR INTAKE MODE Outdoor Unit 2WAY (ME1 type) Cooling Heating 3WAY (MF2 type) Cooling Heating Cooling & Heating ON Indoor temperature range 14°C 16°C 14°C 15°C Outdoor temperature range 46°C (*DBT) 16°C (*DBT) 46°C (*DBT) 16°C (*DBT) 24°C (*DBT) Wiring All  wiring must conform to the local electrical codes. ) Each unit must be properly grounded with a ground (or  earth) wire or through the supply wiring. ς 25°C (*WBT) 22°C 30°C (*DBT) -5°C 25°C (*WBT) 22°C 30°C (*DBT) ― -5°C -5°C Operation Preparation Turn the power mains on 5 hours before the start of operation. ς *DBT: Dry bulb temperature *WBT: Wet bulb temperature If the unit is operated for long hours excluding the conditions listed in the table, operation will be stopped and the unit leads to problems. NOTE Pull off the power plug from a receptacle, or switch off the breaker, or switch off the power disconnecting mean to isolate the air conditioner from the main power supply when not in use for a long time. Tips for Energy Saving  Avoid Do  not block the air intake and outlet of the unit. (If either is obstructed, the unit will not function well, causing malfunction. ) During cooling operation, use sunshades, blinds or cur tains to prevent direct sunlight from entering the room. ς ‘‘DRY’’ operation  Defrosting Once the room temperature reaches the level that was  set, the outdoor unit repeats the cycle of turning on and off automatically. When the outdoor unit is turned off, the indoor unit fan  will stop, too. (To prevent the humidity in the room from rising again) When the room temperature is more likely to reach the  level that was set, the fan speed is set to ‘‘breeze’’ (light wind) automatically. €‘DRY’’ operation is not possible if the outdoor tempera ture is 15 °C or less. 2Heating operation resumes after several minutes: The indoor unit fan remains stopped (or it will run at a very slow speed) until the indoor heat exchanger coil warms up sufficiently. ς Should the power failure occurs while the unit is running When the unit automatically resumes operation after temporary power failure, it uses the same settings before the power was cut off. Indb 6 2014/09/18 9:31:42 FRESH AIR INTAKE MODE Only Setting the Operation mode This product brings outdoor fresh air into the building and adjusts and supplies the air with nearly current indoor temperature. Automatic cooling and heating operation mode Due to the temperature difference between the outdoor air and preset temperature in remote controller, cooling or heating operation can be automatically selected. In the case of group control, the setting is possible when all of the indoor units in the same refrigerant circuit consist of one group. 6) 1 Cooling operation mode : In case that the outdoor temperature is 5°C higher than the preset temperature in remote controller. : In case that the outdoor temperature and preset temperature in remote controller are within 2 Fan operation mode ±5°C. [. . . ] The fan continues to rotate even after the operation is stopped using the remote controller.
