[. . . ] STEREO RADIO CD/USB/SD/MMC/MP3 PLAYER WITH DUAL ALARM CLOCK SYSTEM CR-2800 INSTRUCTION MANUAL IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS WARNING: TO PREVENT FIRE OR SHOCK HAZARD DO NOT USE THIS PLUG WITH AN EXTENSION CORD, RECEPTACLE OR OTHER OUTLET UNLESS THE BLADES CAN BE FULLY INSERTED TO PREVENT BLADE EXPOSURE. DO NOT EXPOSE THIS APPLIANCE TO RAIN OR MOISTURE. This lightning flash with arrowhead symbol, within an equilateral triangle, is intended to alert the user to the presence of dangerous voltage within the product s enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons present. Warning: to reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove or open the casing of the product. Refer servicing to qualified service personnel. The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of important operating and maintenance (servicing) instructions in the literature accompanying the appliance. CAUTION: Please read through these instructions, so you will know how to operate your equipment properly. Do not install near any heat sources or open flames such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, lit candles or matches, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat. [. . . ] IMPORTANT: After you press the AL1 button you must make your wake-up time adjustments within 10 seconds while the wake-up time display is flashing. After 10 seconds the wake-up time display stops flashing, the display returns to the correct time, and no wake-up time adjustments can be made. If this occurs you must begin with Step 1 above and start the wakeup time adjustment process again. Canceling The Alarms To cancel the alarms completely press the respective ALARM 1 and/or ALARM 2 buttons until the AL1 and/or AL2 indicators disappear. Snooze/Repeat Alarm After the alarm turns on in the morning you can press the SNOOZE button for a few extra minutes sleep. The alarm will stop for approximately 9 minutes and then come on again. Snooze operation can be repeated several times if desired, but after one hour the alarm will not turn On again. Weekend Sleeper To skip all alarms in the weekend, press the WEEKEND button, the WEEKEND indicator will be on. Press the WEEKEND button to cancel this function, and return to your preset alarm(s). -4- Dimmer Control The display DIMMER selector switch located on the right side cabinet was set to the HIGH position at our factory. If you find the display to be too bright for sleeping, slide the DIMMER selector switch to the LOW position. Sleep To Music Timer You can use the sleep timer to fall asleep to the Radio, CD player or USB/SD/MMC music up to 90 minutes and have the unit shut off automatically. WARNING: The level you select for Sleep To Music is the same level you will hear when the alarm turns On in the morning. 2) Press the SLEEP button to select the desired amount of sleep timer from 90 minutes to one minute. 3) When the display shows the desired amount of time, stop pressing the SLEEP button. The Radio, CD player or USB/SD/MMC music will continue until the sleep timer counts down to 00 and then shut off automatically. 4) To stop the Radio or CD player before the sleep timer counts down to 00 , press the ALARM OFF/POWER button to turn the unit Off . Note: If you are falling asleep to CD or USB/SD/MMC, the sound stops when the disc ends, even if a longer sleep time was selected. Listening To The Radio 1) Press the ALARM OFF/POWER button to turn the unit On . 2) Press the FUNCTION button until the FUNCTION indicator turns off to select the Radio function. 3) Rotate the TUNING control on the right side panel to tune to the desired station. 4) Rotate the VOLUME control on the left side panel to adjust the volume level. 5) When you are finished listening press the ALARM OFF/POWER button to turn the unit Off . [. . . ] Press the FUNCTION button until the FUNCTION indicator turns on yellow to enter USB playing mode. Proceed repeat play (repeat 1-repeat all)/program play/random play/skip up and down operation as the same described in above USING THE CD/MP3 . SD/MMC Card Installation And Remove Press the card towards the SD/MMC CARD slot, when the installation is well done, a click sound will be heard. To remove the SD/MMC card, press the card gently the card will flick out. [. . . ]
