Upgrading The KTL-16 Software
Windows Users Please follow the instructions beginning on page 2-7 titled " Connecting to a computer via USB. " You do not need a MIDI interface in order to upgrade the software. Next, proceed to chapter 6 (page 6-2) and follow the instructions titled "Installing Software Upgrades. " We suggest using Windows Media Player to perform the software upgrade. For now you must use a MIDI interface which can be connected to your Mac via USB, but must be connected to your KTL-16 via the MIDI In jack. After the KTL-16 is connected to your Mac, please follow the instructions on page 6-2 titled "Installing Software Upgrades. " Note: On step 7, disregard the reference to Windows Media Player.
