Manual abstract: user guide KRESS CDS 6425

Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] Before the first operation check that the mains voltage corresponds to that given on the machine nameplate. Before operating the machine, please read through the operating instructions completely, follow the Safety Instructions in this manual as well as the general Safety Instructions for Power Tools in the accompanying booklet. Always remove the plug from the socket before manipulating the machine. [. . . ] this procedure also applies to the assembly and disassembly of the flap attachment (10). If the Velcro lining on the original grinding disc becomes worn or damaged during use, you may turn the grinding plate 120° twice to obtain proper adhesion for the Velcro paper. The Velcro lining on the grinding disc is a wearing part and is thus excluded from the conditions of the guarantee. The grinding tools are simply pressed onto the grinding disc or flap attachment. The bore holes of the abrasive paper and the grinding disc will automatically coincide when fitted properly. This facilitates the trouble-free extraction of sanding dust when using a vacuum cleaner. Begin with coarse paper, gradually replacing it with finer paper until the desired grinding results have been achieved. We do not recommend pressing down heavily on the machine, as higher working pressure reduces the number of strokes and consequently the grinding performance. The machine should be turned on before it is applied to the work piece and should not be turned off until it has been removed from the work piece after grinding (grain marks due to slowdown). It allows you to optimally adjust the speed to the work piece and the applied abrasive paper and is controlled by means of the adjusting wheel (2). As with all service work, brush replacement is carried out quickly and easily by our service locations. They should be replaced immediately at an authorised KRESS Service Point With the CDS 6425 EXL thanks to the innovative mains cable with patent quick-release lock (6) it is possible for you to replace the cable with the greatest of ease. Press the two lock pushbuttons (5) and pull the mains cable (6) out of the casing. Only use the mains cable with patent quick-release lock for KRESS power tools! faulty mains cables may only be repaired at an authorised KRESS Service Point. Optional accessories: Spare grinding disc Flap attachment Abrasive paper, triangular/K 60400 Abrasive paper, hexagonal/K 60400 (make sure that the size is correct) Noise/vibration information: Measured values determined according to EN 60745. Typically the A-weighted noise levels of the machine are: sound pressure level 81 dB (A); sound power level 92 dB (A). Environmental protection Recycle raw materials instead of disposing as waste We reserve the right to make changes in accordance with technical advancement. [. . . ] The guarantee may only be enforced when defects are reported without undue delay (including shipping damage). If the tool is defective, please complete the guarantee card and return the unit, guarantee card and a brief description of the problem to the responsible service location. The guarantee obligations assumed by us shall exclude any further claims on the part of the buyer, in particular the right to recission of a sale, reduction and the assertion of damage claims.
