Manual abstract: user guide JONSERED LT 2216 A2

Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] Such instruction should emphasize: - the need for care and concentration when working with ride-on machines; - control of a ride-on machine sliding on a slope will not be regained by the application of the brake. The main reasons for loss of control are: a) insufficient wheel grip; b) being driven too fast; c) inadequate braking; d) the type of machine is unsuitable for its task; e) lack of awareness of the effect of ground conditions, especially slopes; f) incorrect hitching and load distribution. Do not operate the engine in a confined space where dangerous carbon monoxide fumes can collect. Before attempting to start the engine, disengage all blade attachment clutches and shift into neutral. [. . . ] WARNING: Before installing battery remove metal bracelets, wrist watch bands, rings, etc. open doors over battery poles , remove terminal portective caps and discard. The gauge wheels are designed to keep the mower deck in proper position when operating mower. Be sure they are properly adjusted to ensure optimum mower performance. ⷠSlide adjusting bar down into bracket channel, Be sure that adjusting bar aligning holes are on top. For ease of mower to tractor assembly, raise gauge wheels to highest position and retain with clevis pins and spring retainers. Be sure tractor is on level surface and mower suspension arms (3) are raised with attachment lift control. ⷠLower mower suspension arms (3) with attachment lift control. Install front plate assembly (4) to tractor suspension brackets (5) and retain with single loop retainer springs (A) as shown. ⷠPosition front plate assembly between front mower brackets (6). raise deck and plate assembly to align holes and insert flanged pins (7). Other conditions such as trimming at slow speeds may cause the cruise control to disengage. Do not use the cruise control on slopes, rough terrain or while trimming or turning. Do not smoke when filling with petrol or fill up when the engine is warm. The combined oil refilling cap and the oil stick is accessible when the bonnet is lifted forwards. SAE 5W-30 oil should be used during the winter (below freezing point). Make sure that the cutting unit is in the transport position (top position) and that the lever for connection/disconnection of the cutting unit is in the disconnection position. If the engine will not start, wait about 10 seconds before the next try. Let the ignition key return to the "ON" position when the engine has started and push in the choke control as soon as the engine is running smoothly. Depress forward drive pedal to full forward position, hold for five (5) seconds and release pedal. Depress reverse drive pedal to full reverse position, hold for five (5) seconds and release pedal. engage transmission by placing freewheel control in driving position. [. . . ] Total time taken is not greater, since higher drive speed can be selected without affecting the cutting results. The cutting results will be worse since the wheels will sink into the soft lawn. bLADE REMOVAL: · Raise mower to highest position to allow access to blades. Install new or resharpened blade with trailing edge up towards deck as shown. [. . . ]
