If other drives in the computer (such as the CD-ROM drive) use mounting rails, you may need similar rails for the REV drive. If the drive is securely held in place by rails, you will not need to use the mounting screws. NOTE: If your computer does not allow clear access for connecting cables to the drive when it is in the bay, connect the power and data cables before securing the drive. NOTE: For best performance, use the cable that shipped with the drive. NOTE: The SATA controller must support removable media devices to work correctly with the REV SATA drive.
