Wipe plates dry with a paper towel or sponge to avoid grease dripping onto your counter when plates are removed. To clean grill plates, wash in warm, soapy water; dry thoroughly with a soft cloth or paper towel. Empty drip tray and wash in warm, soapy water; dry thoroughly with a paper towel. Reinstall grill plates, making sure they are securely attached to grill body. After washing grill plates in a dishwasher, wipe uncoated side with a dry towel to prevent discoloration. To remove stubborn buildup, use a nylon or non-metallic scrubbing pad to clean the grill plates. To clean the grill cover, wipe with a warm, wet sponge and dry with a soft, dry cloth. Any servicing requiring disassembly other than the above cleaning must be performed by a qualified electrician.
