Access Mode This item defines ways that can be used to access IDE hard disks such as LBA (Large Block Addressing). Leave this value at Auto and the system will automatically decide the fastest way to access the hard disk drive. These items define the characteristics of any diskette drive attached to the system. This motherboard has a builtin VGA graphics system; you must leave this item at the default value. You can use this item to select which types of errors in the POST are sufficient to halt the system. These items are automatically detected by the system at start up time. When enabled, this item provides protection against viruses that try to write to the boot sector and partition table of your hard disk drive. We recommend that you enable this item as soon as you have installed an operating system. Most processors that can be installed in this system use external level 2 (L2) cache memory to improve performance.
