If you press clear after pushing the MIN/MAX button once,  you will erase the maximum & minimum indoor temp. If you press clear after pushing the MIN/MAX button twice,  you will erase the maximum & minimum outdoor temperature stored in memory. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS THE UNIT: Choose a suitable space away from direct sunlight,  heating and air conditioning vents. Option 1: Install wall mount bracket with enclosed 2 screws or double-sided tape. THE OUTSIDE SENSOR: Make sure that the remote sensor wire will reach outside before mounting the unit.
