Modifying the Informix ODBC. INI file
In order to use the data access layer with an Informix database in a UNIX environment, you need to modify the unicode configuration. This configuration information can be in either of the following locations: · The . odbc. ini file located in your home directory. · The file specified by the ODBCINI environment variable.
1. Locate the ODBC. INI file or the file specified by the ODBCINI environment variable, and open it in a text editor. Close the file and save it.
