Your washer dryer is distinguished by its economical consumption of energy, water and detergent. Each washer dryer which leaves our factory is checked carefully to ensure that it functions properly and is in perfect condition. [. . . ] This is displayed by the flashing first segment in the progress bar and the flashing apostrophe ' between the number and h. When the start time has elapsed, the programme starts automatically and the programme duration is displayed. To do this: - Briefly set the programme selector to another programme. - When the programme selector has been reset to the original programme, individual or all other settings may have to be reselected. i If the programme sequence is changed by rotating the programme selector or the programme is cancelled, the preselected start time is also cancelled. The programme duration of the newly selected programme appears in the display. The start time must be reselected (see also chapter Changing the programme, page 35 and Cancelling the programme, page 36). Close the washer dryer door. 32 Childproof lock You can secure your washer dryer to prevent selected functions from being inadvertently changed. If the childproof lock has been selected: - no changes can be made while the programme is running, - the symbol G flashes if a programme setting is inadvertently changed, - should the appliance be switched off and on while a programme is running, the programme will continue at the point at which it was interrupted, - the laundry can be topped up while the start time is running. Activating the childproof lock q Set the programme selector to the required programme and, if required, select other settings. i Release the M button. Example of Easy Care A 40 ºC programme: q Press the M button and hold down (for approx. q Release the M button, the childproof lock is acti vated, the symbol is permanently on. Deactivating the childproof lock The childproof lock must be deactivated before making programme changes or ending programmes with setting "---" (without final spin). i If there is a power failure, the childproof lock remains on. 33 Signal The acoustic signal indicates: - that the additional functions (buttons) have been switched on or off, - individual programme statuses (e. g. start of programme, end of programme), operating errors and faults. Signal for switching buttons on and off q Press the M button and set the programme selector to Cottons y 30 ºC. i When the additional functions are switched on, a long signal is emitted; when the additional function is switched off, the signal is short. The volume of the signal cannot be changed. Signal for programme status The signal can be switched on and off and the volume set before the start or after the end of the programme. q Press the v button and hold down until the signal is emitted and the volume of the signal changes. The selected setting is stored. 34 During washing/drying Changing the programme If you have accidentally selected the wrong programme: q If the childproof lock is active, temporarily deactivate, see page 33. If Prewash is selected subsequently, set the programme selector to Off and reselect the programme. i The newly selected programme starts at the programme section at which the previous programme was cancelled, however with the new settings. q If required, re activate the childproof lock, see page 33. 35 Cancelling the programme If you would like to terminate a programme and remove the laundry: q If the childproof lock is active, deactivate, see page 33. q Turn the programme selector to b Drain, B Spin or á Rinse/Freshen up. If required, select the desired spin speed (but not setting "---" (without final spin)).
