Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] Ensure the switch is in the off-position before connecting to power source and/or battery pack, picking up or carrying the tool. Carrying power tools with your finger on the switch or energising power tools that have the switch on invites accidents. D) Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning the power tool on. A wrench or a key left attached to a rotating part of the power tool may result in personal injury. [. . . ] Hold power tool by insulated gripping surfaces, when performing an operation where the cutting accessory may contact hidden wiring or its own cord. Cutting accessory contacting a "live" wire may make exposed metal parts of the power tool "live" and could give the operator an electric shock. Otherwise there is danger of kickback when the cutting tool jams in the workpiece. Pay attention that the base plate 5 rests securely on the material while sawing. When the cut is completed, switch off the machine and then pull the saw blade out of the cut only after it has come to a standstill. In this manner you can avoid kickback and can place down the machine securely. Do not brake the saw blade to a stop by applying side pressure after switching off. Use suitable detectors to determine if utility lines are hidden in the work area or call the local utility company for assistance. Penetrating a water line causes property damage or may cause an electric shock. A workpiece clamped with clamping devices or in a vice is held more secure than by hand. Always wait until the machine has come to a complete stop before placing it down. 16 | English While inserting the saw blade, pay attention that the back of the saw blade is positioned in the groove of the guide roller 7. Precise cuts are only possible when the guide roller 7 faces closely but not too tight against the back of the saw blade (the saw blade 8 may not be bent by the guide roller). If required, loosen screw 12 and move the holder 11 of the guide roller in such a manner that the guide roller faces closely against the back of the saw blade. Removing the Saw Blade (see figure A2) Push the saw blade holder 9 upward in the direction of the arrow and remove the saw blade 8. We declare under our sole responsibility that the product described under "Technical Data" is in conformity with the following standards or standardization documents: EN 60745 according to the provisions of the directives 2004/108/EC, 98/37/EC (until 28 Dec 2009), 2006/42/EC (from 29 Dec 2009). Dusts from materials such as lead-containing coatings, some wood types, minerals and metal can be harmful to one's health. Touching or breathing-in the dusts can cause allergic reactions and/or lead to respiratory infections of the user or bystanders. Certain dusts, such as oak or beech dust, are considered as carcinogenic, especially in connection with wood-treatment additives (chromate, wood preservative). An overview for the connection of various vacuum cleaners can be found at the end of these instructions. Selecting a Saw Blade Use only T-shank saw blades or saw blades with 1/4" universal shank (U-shank). The saw blade should not be longer than required for the intended cut. [. . . ] With the air jet of the sawdust blower device 6, the cutting line can be kept free of dust and chips. Switching on the sawdust blower device: For cuts in materials with high removal rate, such as in wood, plastic, etc. Switching off the sawdust blower device: For cuts in metal and when a dust extraction system is connected, push the switch 6 to position "0". The voltage of the power source must agree with the voltage specified on the nameplate of the machine. [. . . ]
