Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] DO NOT position where it can be touched by children, especially the very young. Allow a safe area around the heater away from furniture or other objects; at least 50 cm from the top and sides and 200 cm at the front. Keep the mains cord at a safe distance from the main body of the heater. If overheating should occur, the built-in overheating safety device will switch off the heater. [. . . ] The heater switches off and the pilot light goes out as soon as the preset time has elapsed. If you turn the dial clockwise to 30, the heater will stay on for 30 minutes and then switch off. To switch the timer off: Slowly turn the timer control anti-clockwise and select setting. The digital thermostat will memorise the settings if the heater is turned off using the "MODE" button (see 6 above). However, if the heater is unplugged, the digital thermostat settings will need to be reprogrammed as detailed from above. Programmable Timer (For BFH430 only) The user can programme the heater to come ON at a preset time OR switch OFF after a selected period. If the heater is on, press the mode button for 2 seconds to switch the heater off. While the heater is off, hold down both the (+) and (-) buttons together to select timer. The display will flash and a red dot will flash on the right hand side of the digital display. Using either the (+) or (-) buttons, programme the heater to switch on up to 16 hours later, in increments of 1 hour. After the preset length of time the heater will automatically turn on. You require the heater to switch on at 5 pm therefore: Set the ON time at 4 hours. If the Mode button is pressed when the timer is actived, the timer function will be cancelled. To reactivate the timer, it will need to be reprogrammed as detailed above. It is not possible to set the on and off timers as part of the same programme. Use the bracket as a template to mark the position of the holes to be drilled. (NOTE: Ensure that the position you choose is suitable for mounting the heater and that the area for fixing is away from hidden electrical cables or pipes. Drill the holes and fix the bracket to the wall using wall plugs and screws. Slide the heater correctly onto the bracket until it "clicks" firmly into place and the heater is safely held. While the heater is running hold down both the (+) and (-) buttons together to select timer. The display will flash and red dot will flash on the right hand sode of the digital display. Using either the (+) or (-) buttons programme the heater to turn off up to 16 hours later in increments of 1 hour. [. . . ] To find the ideal thermostat setting, turn the thermostat knob (C) clockwise as far as it will go. The preset thermostat temperature will flash for 2 seconds in the digital display (B). This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed with other household wastes and should be disposed separately throughout the EU. Det er normalt for varmeapparatet at tænde (On) og slukke (Off) med jævne mellemrum for at bibeholde den valgte rumtemperatur. [. . . ]
