This ensures far greater absorption of unwanted radiation away from the rear of the diaphragm and results in a cleaner, more focused and natural high frequency sound. The bass/midrange driver uses a cone of woven glass fibre, which functions in a similar fashion to Kevlar®. The crossover components use air core inductors for lowest distortion and plastic film capacitors for minimal signal degradation.
