[. . . ] Never attach ribbons or cords to a soother, your child may be strangled by them. [. . . ] Sterilise using an AVENT Steam Steriliser or boil in water for 5 minutes. After sterilisation allow to cool for 5 minutes and squeeze out any trapped water from the soother. Wash your hands thoroughly and ensure surfaces are clean before contact with sterilised components. Excessive concentration of detergents may eventually cause plastic components to crack. Never dip teat in sweet substances or medication, your child may get tooth decay. We recommend replacing the soother after 4 weeks, for safety and hygiene reasons.
