Click OK/Close to accept these changes and alter the IP Connection properties of the computer. 40 NXA-WAP200G Wireless Access Point Wireless Device Communication Setup Once the WAP200G is setup with the Static IP Address and the source computer has been restored with Internet communication; the web browser can then be used to access the Static IP Address of the WAP200G (using the correct username and password) and configure the Configuration Utility parameters such as IP Address, and Security options Logging into the WAP200G within Bridge Mode The default Mode setting for the WAP200G is Access Point (AP). Follow the procedures outlined in the Configuring the Communication section on page 21 to establish the communication parameters between the computer and the target WAP200G. Use the information from the Logging into the WAP200G within Access Point Mode section on page 27 to communicate to the WAP200G through a web browser configured for TCP/IP Networking. Press the Administration tab from the bottom row of the Configuration Utility to open the Administration page. From the Commands section of the page, press the on-screen Bridge button to place the WAP200G into the Bridge Mode. When placed in this mode the WAP200G allows devices with only wired 10/100 Ethernet ports such as; printers, PlayStation2s, X-Boxes, PVRs, etc. Click OK (from the confirmation dialog) to reconfirm you want to reboot the WAP200G. A new Temporarily Saved page appears and instructs you to wait a few seconds for the unit to make the necessary changes. Manually cycle power to the WAP200G by disconnecting and re-connecting the power connector from the rear power port on the WAP200G. Verify the computer and the WAP200G are on the same LAN, within the same IP Address pool. If you are having trouble communicating with your WAP200G, refer to the Troubleshooting section on page 71.
