In this case, make sure that the PE wire of the AC power supply has been well grounded at the power distribution room or AC power supply transformer side. 3-4 Figure 3-5 Ground an AC-powered Ethernet switch through the AC PE wire Ethernet Switch Power transformer N L AC power input (with a 3-core cable) PE Grounding screw If there is no grounding strip and no grounding body can be buried, the DC-powered Ethernet switch can be grounded through the return (RTN) wire of the DC power supply. In this case, make sure the RTN wire has been well grounded from the DC egress of the DC power cabinet. Plug the other end into the AC power busbar, which is connected to the AC power supply in the equipment room. PSR650-A power module Refer to section "PSR320-A power module" on page 3-6. 3-6 PSR1400-A power module Figure 3-9 Connect the AC power cable for the PSR1400-A To connect the AC power cable for the PSR1400-A, proceed as follows: 1) 2) 3) Use a Phillips screwdriver to screw off the right part of the power cable retainer suite. Plug one end of the power cable shipped with the switch into the power socket and fasten the left part of the power socket retainer suite to the other part to lock the power cable. Plug the other end into the AC power busbar, which is connected to the AC power supply in the equipment room. PSR2800-ACV power module There are two AC power inputs on the PSR2800-ACV power module, one for system power and the other for PoE power. The connection of the power cable for each power input is the same as that of the PSR1400-A. For the detailed connection method, refer to section "PSR1400-A power module" on page 3-7. PSR6000-ACV power module The PSR6000-ACV is shipped with a power cable retainer suite. Apply the retainer suite to the power cable before connecting the power cable to the PSR6000-ACV. Figure 3-10 Apply the retainer suite to the power cable (1) (2) (1) Fasten screws for left and right parts of the retainer suite (2) Fasten screws for the retainer suite and the power module To apply the retainer suite to the power cable, proceed as follows: 3-7 1) Fasten the retainer suite to the connector of the power cable. Apply the left and right parts of the retainer suite to the power cable according to the relative positions shown in Figure 3-10; otherwise, you cannot align the screw holes of the retainer suite to those on the power module. 2) Use a No. 1 Phillips screwdriver to fasten the two parts of the retainer suite together. Figure 3-11 Connect the AC power cable to the PSR6000-ACV After applying the retainer suite to the power cable, you can connect the power cable to the power module. The power cables for the four power inputs are connected in the same way. The following takes the connection of the power cable for the system power input as an example. To connect the AC power cable to the PSR6000-ACV, proceed as follows: 1) Connect the connector fastened with the retainer suite to the three-pronged socket of the power module. After that the screw holes on the right part of the retainer suite are aligned with those on the power module. If you cannot align the screw holes on the retainer suite with those on the power module, pull the cable retainer suite outwards, rotate it by 180 degrees, and push it in until it is fixed. After that, you can align the screw holes on the retainer suite with those on the power module. 2) Use a No. 1 Phillips screwdriver to fasten the power cable retainer suite to the power module. 3-8 3) Plug the other end into the AC power busbar, which is connected to the AC power supply in the equipment room. Since the busbars used in equipment rooms are typically for 10-A power cables, but the PSR1400-A, PSR2800-ACV, and PSR6000-ACV power modules require 16-A AC power cables, you need to provide a busbar suitable for 16-A power cables. Refer to Appendix B "AC Power Cables Used in Different Countries or Regions" for AC power cable specifications. Connecting the DC Power Cables PSR320-D power module Figure 3-12 Connect the DC power cable for the PSR320-D Turn off all switches on the switch before connecting the DC power cables. To connect the DC power cable for the PSR320-D, proceed as follows: 1) 2) 3) 4) 5) 6) Remove the protection cover from the power module. Loosen the fastening screw on the wiring terminal with a Phillips screwdriver. Connect the end of the blue DC power cable marked with to the negative terminal () on the power module and fasten the screw. [. . . ] Sollte sich Wasser im Baugruppenträger befinden oder der Baugruppenträger feucht sein, ist die Energiezufuhr sofort zu unterbrechen und das System abzuschalten. When operation is performed in a damp environment, make sure that water is kept off the equipment. Muss in einem feuchten Umgebung gearbeitet werden, ist sicherzustellen, dass kein Wasser in die Ausrüstung dringen kann. Non-standard and improper high voltage operations may result in fire and electric shock. [. . . ]
